SRQYR STATEMENT ON PEOPLE OF NEW YORK V. DONALD TRUMP

Sarasota, FL – May 30, 2024 – Today, the whole nation has witnessed the dangers that those with Trump Derangement Syndrome pose to Democracy. People of New York v. Trump was a RIGGED trial from the start. From the George Soros-Backed Progressive District Attorney who brought the baseless charges, to a Partisan Judge, to a Jury reflective of one of the MOST liberal enclaves in New York City, it truly is unfortunate that most will say that it’s no surprise President Trump was found Guilty. 

However, those of us who live in the real world have seen this entire process for what it is: a politically-motivated witch hunt, against the popular opponent of an incumbent President. As such, the Sarasota Young Republicans stand with President Trump, and are ready to work with all of our Republican Counterparts to fight for the very fabric of our Nation, our State and our Community. 

As President Trump said in remarks after the verdict was announced, "...the REAL verdict will be delivered on November 5th by the people.”
