THE SRQYRs?
The Sarasota-Bradenton Young Republicans are proud to be the Suncoast's duly-chartered chapter of the Florida Young Republicans, the official Young Republican State Affiliate and the official wing of the Republican Party in Florida for all Conservatives aged 18-40. As an official Auxiliary wing of the Republican Party, YRs are dedicated to preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution, as well as furthering the mission and values of the Republican Party.

MISSION.
With nearly 100 active members from Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties, the SRQYRs strive to be the region's premier organization for Young Conservatives, aged 18-40, seeking opportunities for leadership development, networking, and advocacy of conservative policies and Republican ideals here on Florida's Suncoast.

Orginally founded in the 1960s, the SRQYRs are continuing nearly 60 years of tradition as one of the preeminent conservative groups in the State of Florida. The SRQYRs were awarded as the Florida Young Republicans' Club of the Year in 2023 and 2024 for our efforts to actively develop the next generation of business and political leaders by driving the discussion on important public policy issues, working to grow the Republican Party, and helping elect GOP candidates across not only the Sarasota-Bradenton area, but also the Greater Tampa Bay Region and this great State of Florida we call home.

WHAT DO
THE SRQYRs DO?
We don't just talk politics, we DRIVE politics. The SRQYRs are the Grassroots movement within the Republican Party, assisting to Recruit, Train and Elect Young Conservatives.
GRASSROOTS POLITICS SINCE 1856.
The Young Republicans (YRs) are the oldest political youth organization in the United States. Important to the growth of the Republican Party, the YRs reach out to registered Republicans, 18 to 40 years of age, and provide them with better political knowledge and understanding of the issues of the day.

Since it's creation, the Young Republicans have established themselves as the premier Republican grassroots organization in the nation, providing essential grassroots support for Republican candidates and conservative issues on the local, state and national levels. The Sarasota County Young Republicans, together with our state and national affiliates, work to follow the simple YR mission of recruiting, training and electing the next generation of Conservative Leaders right here on the Suncoast.

The Sarasota-Bradenton Young Republicans are committed to inviting fresh ideas, new faces and bright, young conservatives to participate in the future of the Republican Party through voter registration, membership in the SRQYR club, and cooperation with local GOP clubs across the Suncoast and the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
The Sarasota-Bradenton Young Republicans are dedicated to providing resources and networking opportunities to get young conservatives the preparation they need to succeed as grassroots activists, campaign workers, and candidates for public office.
The Young Republicans, as a whole, have a long and proud history of being the groundswell of grassroots support that helps win elections for Republican candidates and prepares the next generation of elected leaders.
