Membership in the Sarasota County Young Republicans gives you many benefits; from networking with like-minded young adults, to meeting and learning from prominent Republican political and business leaders, to campaign and community service opportunities, and access to events exclusive to YRs. SRQ YR is an outstanding organization of conservative young professionals who are from every corner of the county and who are active in many facets of our community. MEMBERSHIP TIERS
Active Membership
Active Membership in the SRQYR is open to all registered Republicans, Aged 18-40, who are residents of the State of Florida. This membership tier entitles you to certain rights such as Running for Club Office or Office in the State Federation, Voting for Club Office, and the Right to sit as a Delegate/Alternate to a State or National YR Convention. Additionally, Membership entitles you to entry for Members-Only Events!
Annual Dues for Individuals: $25.00
Annual Dues for Couples: $40.00
Discounted Membership
All First Responders (Fire, EMS, Police), Undergraduate Students, Veterans, Active-Duty Military Officers and Healthcare Workers are eligible for a discounted rate on their membership, regardless of whether they are eligible for Active or Associate Membership. All High School Students under 18 in Sarasota County enjoy a Free Associate Membership!
Annual Dues: $10.00
Associate Membership
Associate Membership in the SRQYR is open to all registered Republicans who do NOT meet the qualifications for Active Membership. This membership tier entitles you to entry for Members-Only Events, however it does NOT entitle you to Vote for Club Officers, serve as a Delegate to state/national YR Conventions, nor does it entitle you to Run for State or Local Club Offices.
